We hear from young people around the world about the support they want and need to succeed as active citizens and changemakers. We hear young people speak about the need for more connectedness to their peers, for resources and support for self-care, and for opportunities to build and nurture their skills as advocates. Moreover, we hear from young people that they are looking for both peer and adult allies to support the issues they care about and aim to influence. UNICEF’s Youth Advocacy Guide and related processes aim to fill these expressed needs.
