Ukraine

More than 4.3 million refugees (the majority of them are women and children) have left Ukraine. UNICEF and UNHCR current estimates are that children (under 18 years) make up 30 – 50% of Ukrainians fleeing the country, including adolescent youth (between 15 and 19 years old). The war in Ukraine creates a child refugee almost every second (UNICEF).

Ukrainian Refugees Support Fund

Among the consequences of war, the impact on the mental health of the civilian population is one of the most significant. Women and children are most affected. This fund helps Ukrainian people cover immediate needs and expenses, such as housing, medical and psychological assistance, and transportation.

Educational Fund

English Immersion Summer Camp for young refugees is a residential summer program for young Ukrainians. It is a transformational experience for high school students. We provide each student with an established path for personal growth and learning.  We balance challenging academics with a rich menu of educational and social activities, helping to explore a possible career path or future area of study.

Ukrainian Teachers and Students Fund

Due to ongoing hostilities, an estimated 4.5 million Ukrainian children are displaced. Their learning is disrupted–by war. Our goal is to support and encourage Ukrainian children and help them continue their education. We work together with teachers from Kharkiv, Ukraine to help children affected by the war with learning, mental health services, and other activities.
